Charlotte Style Exchange: Women's, Teen, & Home Consignment Sale

Aug. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- The Charlotte Style Exchange is a Semi-Annual Consignment Sale which sells “like new” Women’s and Teen (boy & girl) clothing and accessories and home décor items.  Our 2011 fall sale will be Thursday, October 13th – Saturday, October 15.  We are located in the Rosedale Shopping Center at Gilead Road (exit 23) and I-77.  13020 Rosedale Hill Avenue, Huntersville, NC 28078.

Sale dates and hours
Thursday, 10/13: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Friday, 10/14: 10:00am - 7:00pm
Saturday, 10/15: 9:00am-3:00pm (1/2 off sale!)

Volunteer with us to earn 70% of your sold items.  Consignors & volunteers get to shop the sale first!  
Thursday, 10/13: Volunteers shop at 5pm and Consignors start at 5:30pm
Saturday, 10/15: Volunteers & Consignors can shop the ½ price sale first at 8am!

Consignment sales are a great way for people to earn money on the beautiful clothes they have in our closet that have barely or never been worn but that would look fabulous on a friend!  Consignors have the opportunity to earn a little money on items that they are no longer using and all shoppers can shop for items that they will enjoy at substantial savings to the original retail price!
The consignor pays a small registration fee, prepares their merchandise for sale, and brings their items to the sale location at their designated drop off appointment during the days before the sale.  The consignment sale organizers inspect all merchandise to ensure that only items that meet their quality standards are accepted.  The organizers then receive the merchandise and coordinate the display and sale of the merchandise.  The consignor does not need to be present at any time during the sale, however, we hope you’ll shop with us!  The consignor then picks up any unsold items during the designated pick-up time on the day after the sale.  There is the option to donate their unsold items as well.

Our consignment sale utilizes the my consignment manager software which allows consignors to create the tags that they attach to each of their items which contain their consignor number, a description of the item, the sales price for the item, if they are participating in the 50% off sale on the last day, and a barcode.  This software is web based and is extremely easy to use.  The cashiers then scan each barcode to record each sale.  The software maintains the information and determines the amount sold.  Consignors will be able to check this information after the close of each day of the sale.
