IAQA San Francisco Chapter to Host Environmental Insurance Expert

Aug. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- The Indoor Air Quality Association’s (IAQA) San Francisco Chapter has asked one of the nation’s premier environmental insurance experts to speak at their upcoming workshop.  The event is scheduled to take place on September 8th at AEMTEK’s training room in Fremont, California.

In the presentation entitled, “Environmental Insurance and Why Your Company Needs It”, local IAQA chapter members will learn about environmental liability insurance and how it affects companies in the indoor air quality (IAQ) industry. Brian McFarland, Vice President for Legends Environmental Insurance Services, LLC, will discuss common insurance terms, mistakes and frequently asked questions about this vital component of all businesses involved in providing IAQ services and products.  Legends Environmental Insurance Services is the only pre-approved insurance vendor for the IAQA.

The San Francisco Chapter of the IAQA provides these regularly scheduled professional forums for representatives from a range of industries the opportunity to share their experiences relevant to building sciences and indoor air quality.  This cross-industry sharing of information provides new insight into developments and solutions in the ever changing world of IAQ.
