Aug. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Valencia. Students in a Spanish language school in Valencia visit among their daily teaching classes, some of the typical fiestas to apply what they have learned from the lessons and to gain experience into the Spanish culture. The school organizes every Monday a paella-welcome party and every Friday and a beach party, where the students are given the opportunity to get to know each other and apply the learned in school. For drinks, musical entertainment and good atmosphere will be served.

Regularly these beach parties take place in larger context, if the various language schools in Valencia hold the party together – so it is possible that you can meet sometimes a few hundred students from all parts of the world and celebrate together on the beach.

Another highlight of the summer is the trip to Picassent in the middle of July. It’s a small village outside of Valencia where several bulls run through the narrow streets. Only the bravest face the animals in the streets just to jump at the last second in one of the many fortified bars to escape. Inside a refreshing shower is waiting for them before they rush out again into the streets and thwart the bulls for a second time.

Also very popular is the trip to Cullera, a small town in the south of Valencia, which is known for its beautiful beaches, on which has already taken place some fiestas.

In mid-August, the language school Costa de Valencia also plans day trips to Chiva, another village not far from Valencia. Over several weeks, the village shifts during the annual village celebrations: foam parties, bulls, eating paella and other culinary delights then determine the village life.

In late August the Spanish language school goes to Alaquas, another village near Valencia, where a famous paella cooking competition takes place and after that the students cool down in the pool.
The grand finale of the summer is the world famous La Tomatina festival, which is held on the last Wednesday of the month of August. Every year, tens of thousands of spectators from around the world come there in order to gain unique experience. For one hour the participants throw with tomatoes and turn the streets in a bright red battlefield.
In early September it gets a little quiet and so Costa de Valencia is visiting the port town of Javea in the south of Valencia to make some cultural and historical experiences in order to gather and enjoy local delicacies.

Those who have the luck to be at this period in the Spanish language school in Valencia will probably never forget the summer!
