ANNA, You are threatening India’s Sovereignty – Thomas Easaw

Aug. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Thomas Easaw, musician philosopher and author of the book,’Justice Theory and the Ten Amendments’, fears that Anna is threatening India’s sovereignty and requests parliamentarians to not let that happen. If Anna’s real intention is to save the country than to protect his prestige, he should be open to debate as in any democracy.

Prevention of corruption is necessary, but it is only enough to tweak our existing system which is almost as good, than to create another Frankenstein, without proper thought or parliamentary debate.

For instance, just removing the “Action taken in good faith” clause from the law books will automatically affix accountability on every officer, big or small and will sort out 90% of the problems of our present system. The Lokpal Bill may be able to reduce corruption, but it cannot eradicate it nor guarantee justice or peace.
