“Calif. employers are required to establish a safety plan called an Injury and Illness Prevention Program,” said Don Dressler, safety and risk manager, attorney and former workers' compensation insurance company president. “Employers who have 10+ employees are now required to document their programs, and provide safety training to new employees and employees assigned to new positions, and maintain written records of such training; they must also implement/document an emergency plan that includes evacuation.  Our new website is a perfect vehicle to enable this to the benefit of our members and business owners in Calif.,” Dressler said.
