Yucaipa Little Theatre's newest musical just opened this past weekend. Directed by Matt Walsh. Assistant Director Bethanne Boone, and Vocal Coach Randy Martono-Chai. This is a show you do NOT want to miss!
 
Aug. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Yucaipa, California, August, 2011- Come join us at Yucaipa Little Theatre and let your mind travel back to a time of broad swards, archery, and adventure as our cast of characters tells the story of Robin Hood! This fun-filled show opened last weekend and will be playing for the next two weekends. The cast has a wide age range from 7 and up.

Director Matt Walsh, recent graduate of Shenandoah University in Winchester Virginia and Alum of Redlands High School was very pleased with the overall product of his show. “I have cast members from all over the Inland Empire! It’s great to see them all come together to work on this great show! Justin Zaragoza (Robin Hood) resides in Moreno Valley along with Cassie Moses (Lady Merle). Katie Roche (Maid Marian), who has been seen in many Junior University productions, and Dances at the Looking Glass studio in San Bernardino, is currently attending Citrus Valley High School. Marcus McInerney (Sheriff of Nottingham)and Alumni Meghan Duncan (merry man) are both from Yucaipa High School. This cast does truly come from all over the Inland Empire!"

The show also has a live pit orchestra under the direction of Randy Martono-Chai, Junior at Redlands High School, and second year in the Redlands High School Chamber Singers. “I got his name from Choir Director Kenneth Tuttle, and couldn’t be any happier. He did a lot of new arrangements to the music, and has really helped bring new life to the show,” says director. Randy plays the piano, flute, and conducts the four piece band. Band members from Redlands High School include: Matt Kuhn on sax, obo and clarinet, and Bobbie Martinez on Clarinet.
