Seed Time and Harvest

Can prosperity be gained through knowledge of the kingdom of God and how it works? "While the earth remains, Seed time and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease."Gen 8:20 NKJV Seed time and harvest is an illustration of a kingdom principle that can change your life.

How does a seed germinate? We only know that if the elements are there, the soil, water, temperature etc. then the seed reacts to its environment and germinates. But why does it happen?  God set a law in motion of seed time and harvest.
Prosperity is the result of putting the law of seed time and harvest to work for you. Gal 6:7-9, says “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Give to the Lord, give to those in need, give as the Lord leads you of whatever He tells you. Give your time, your talents, give of yourself etc. Luke 6: 37, 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

If you need friendship give yourself over to be friendly. If you want loyalty, be loyal to others. If you need money sow some money, whatever a man sows, that he will also reap "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. NKJV This law works not only for prosperity but for any situation in life.

Don't Ever Give Up!
It is desperately important not to give up. That is key. When you put a seed in the ground it takes time before you can see any evidence of it because the seed needs to germinate. Seeds germinate in their own time. Some take longer than others. You don't dig up the seed to see how it's doing. But instead you water it and wait with expectancy for the seed to show itself.

Your expectancy is hope and faith believing it will happen. The water is the Holy Spirit, lean on Him alone. Don't try to do this in your own strength. You can't make the seed grow. Ask God to help you choose to trust Him and look for Him to fulfill His Word. Gal 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. NKJV

The sun is like the Son of God who is the Word made flesh. The Word of God are the many Bible Verses that are Truth. Don't shade your seed by your unbelief but choose to receive Truth and rely on God to bring it all to pass in His time.

Don't Worry. Some things take a long time and you may be tempted to give up. Think of it this way; the Kingdom of God is not like a baseball game were you only get three strikes and you’re out. You see, we as Christians have an advantage. We know He who makes the rules. And your Father says the game is not over until you win. The only way you can lose is if you give up.

Don't ever give up! And you will never loose. For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Gal 6:9 KJV

God Gives the Sower Seed
If you need a financial harvest sow financial seeds. Sow for a harvest of prosperity. A man of God once said, if what you have in your hand is not enough to meet your need, than it is your seed. God supplies you with seeds even if they are very small seeds to begin with, keep sowing and they can grow like the mustard seed into a very large harvest.

The law of the harvest works and when it comes to pass be careful not to rely on the harvest for your sustenance, it is easy to fall into that. You must remember the Lord of the harvest. Jesus must remain the only thing you rely on! It is still God that must remain in first place in your life. You can't eat the harvest without the breath of life in you. God breathed the breath of life into us, don't rely on anything else. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

Seek Gods Face not just His hand. Let your relationship with God be your treasure. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Lk12:34 He is the source of all blessings and prosperity.

The Lord knows that you have physical needs see Matt 6:32-34 for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. NKJV
"Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom”. Lk 12: It is God's will that you prosper.
