Neal Communities Contributes To Ward Temple A.M.E. Summer Program For Children

Aug. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Southwest Florida – Neal Communities has donated to the ongoing operating expenses of the Summer Community Outreach Program of Enrichment (S.C.O.P.E.). The program, held at the Ward Temple A.M.E. facility on 5TH Street West in Bradenton, operated on weekdays from 8 am to 5:30 pm during the summer vacation. The program was open to children from ages 4 to 17.

Pat Neal attended a music and dance performance the final day of the session. “I’m impressed with the life lessons they teach these young people. They put on an excellent performance that even included an inspiring message about not making excuses, not quitting, and believing in the impossible,” says Neal Communities President, Pat Neal. “I’m going to share the script with my sales staff.”

S.C. O.P.E. included enrichment in physical education, theater and drama, computer classes, field trips, visual arts, dance, and music. The students came from throughout the area, but the majority lived within 2 to 3 miles of the church. Neal Communities has contributed to this program for the past ten years.
