OakLeaf Surgical Hospital Hires New CEO

Aug. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- A seasoned healthcare executive with nearly 20 years of senior leadership experience, Hargrave-Thomas will assume her new duties at OakLeaf Surgical Hospital on September 26, 2011.

OakLeaf Surgical Hospital, which was rated “best in the nation” for patient experience by Consumer Reports magazine, offers seven surgical suites, two GI suites and a pain management center. Hargrave-Thomas will lead several critical initiatives for the organization, including opening a new facility.

Prior to joining OakLeaf Surgical Hospital, Hargrave-Thomas served as the CEO and administrator at West Bloomfield Surgery Center in West Bloomfield, Mich. Her career has included leadership positions at Wayne State University Physicians Group and at Detroit Medical Center, both located in Detroit, Mich. Named one of Becker’s “Administrators to Know” in 2010 and 2011, Hargrave-Thomas completed a master’s of business administration degree in healthcare administration at Baker College in Flint, Mich., as well as a bachelor's of science in nursing at Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y.
