Little Caesars Pizza "Shows the Love" to Baltimore
The Little Caesars Love Kitchen is rolling into Baltimore to feed the needy on August 24 and August 25
The “Love Kitchen” is a mobile pizza kitchen designed to feed a large number of people, while still maintaining the company’s “Hot ‘n Ready” philosophy. The “Love Kitchen”, an award-winning, nationally recognized program, provides a delicious and nutritious hot meal for families who otherwise might not have had anything to eat that day. Over the two days in Baltimore, Little Caesars plans to provide pizza for 1,000 people: 500 people for dinner on Wednesday and 500 people for lunch on Thursday.
The “Love Kitchen” is supported by Little Caesars franchise owners. They donate the product and volunteer manpower for each “Love Kitchen” serving. Little Caesars franchise owner Terry Huffman is donating the130 cheese and pepperoni pizzas needed for each serving, from his Wise Ave Little Caesars in Dundalk, MD.
“Little Caesars created the Love Kitchen to provide quality meals for people who need
them,” added owner Terry Huffman. “Giving back has been part of the way Little Caesars does business since shortly after the first store opened in 1959. We believe it is important to do our part to help the community and families in need in the Baltimore area.”
Little Caesar’s Pizza recognizes that every day, in every city in America there are families who go to bed hungry. The “Love Kitchen” is their possible solution to that problem. As “Love Kitchen” events have shown in the past, any effort towards helping those in need is immensely appreciated. Since its beginning, the “Love Kitchen” has increased its amount of people from 100 to 500 people per serving, a number that is expected to continue to grow. The “Love Kitchen” operates by the words, “Serving to Make a Difference” and Little Caesar’s Pizza hopes that they may show, by example, how feasible it is for other nationwide food franchises to help feed those in need.
Established by Little Caesars in 1985, the Love Kitchen exemplifies Little Caesar’s strong tradition of giving back to America’s communities.“
