NH Roller Derby Presents Season Finale Triple Header
New Hampshire Roller Derby (NHRD), the state’s first women’s flat track roller derby league, ends its 2011 home season with three action-packed bouts at Manchester's JFK Memorial Coliseum on August 27th.
NHRD’s Queen City Cherry Bombs will go head to head against the visiting Skyland Roller Girls of New Jersey in a first-time match up. The excitement will continue as two of NHRD's home teams, the Nightmares on Elm Street and the Granite Skate Troopers, battle it out to see who will take home the JFK Trophy in this year’s League Championship. Finally, two of New Hampshire's premier roller derby teams will trade hits as NHRD's Skate Free or Die All-Stars host Granite State Roller Derby’s Legislashers of Concord.
Tickets are available online via www.nhrollerderby.com. Beer with be available to purchase for those 21 and over with proper ID. NHRD will wrap up their season on the road with bouts against the Green Mountain Derby Dames of Vermont, CT Rollergirls of Connecticut, Central Mass Roller Derby of Fitchburg.

4:00pm – Queen City Cherry Bombs vs. Skyland Roller Girls
5:30pm – Nightmares on Elm St vs. Granite Skate Troopers
7:00pm – Skate Free or Die All-Stars vs. Granite State Roller Derby

About NH Roller Derby
NHRD is the state’s first NH all-female flat track roller derby league with members from central and southern New Hampshire and central Massachusetts. NHRD is a skater-owned and operated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which promotes women’s athleticism while giving back to the local community. The league is a proud member of the Eastern Region of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
About the WFTDA
The Women’s Flat Track Derby Association is the international governing body for the sport of women’s flat track roller derby and a membership organization for leagues to collaborate and network. The WFTDA sets standards for rules, seasons, and safety, and determines guidelines for the national and international athletic competitions of member leagues. There are currently 89 WFTDA member leagues and 36 leagues in the WFTDA Apprentice program. The WFTDA, a 501(c)(6) tax-exempt organization, is governed by a five-member, volunteer Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Director.
