For example, fruits, vegetables, eggs and raw animal protein are composed of somewhere between 70% to 96% water. The ramifications of this fact are worth examining.

In July 2009, the Daily Mail reported on a research study performed at the University of Aberdeen Medical School in Scotland. The study found that some fruits and vegetables might hydrate our bodies twice as effectively as a glass of water. This confirmed the Griesels’ observation about their hydration levels, and ensured that a focus on fruit and vegetable consumption was given a top spot in their TurboCharged program.
