Aug. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- (Los Angeles) CSH is celebrating its 20th anniversary in California with an inaugural, statewide Awards event to showcase supportive housing projects that demonstrate quality in their commitment to transform the lives of formerly homeless tenants.

CSH is currently collecting entries for a development competition which will be judged by the CSH Seven Dimensions of Quality, an industry accepted framework used among developers, property managers, service providers and funders for assessing, investing in and ensuring quality supportive housing. Two of the awards are based on CSH’s Seven Dimensions of Quality, recognizing excellence in design, supportive services program and operations management.  A third award will recognize the experiential discovery of an organization as it went through the process of developing permanent supportive housing.

“I look forward to seeing the supportive housing projects that make this year’s shortlist. At CSH we have spent 20 years leading the supportive housing industry and we are excited to honor our community partners who are working with industry, municipalities and other local organizations, to provide homes for people in need,” said Jonathan Hunter, CSH Western Region Managing Director.

The Awards entry closing deadline is August 29, 2011. Winners will be honored during a ceremony in Los Angeles on November 10, 2011. Nomination forms and complete information on eligibility and requirements are available at http://documents.csh.org/documents/ca/CSH_CA_Awards2011.pdf
