By: Cutwater Boats Bosun’s Marine will add a Cutwater 28 to its line-up of boats at the end of this summer and will exhibit the model at boat shows this fall. As boating in New England tends to be more seasonal than in other locales, the new 28 trailerable model gives buyers the option of extending their cruising season by towing their Cutwater to warmer waters even in cooler months. Tim Leedham, owner of Bosun’s Marine, says, “Several of the lines we offer are trailerable but none offer the full range of liveaboard amenities of a Cutwater. A couple could comfortably spend long weekends on the 26 or 28. Simply put, these boats will help our clients spend more time on the water.” Bosun’s Marine will dedicate a team of experienced sales representatives to new Cutwater sales. The more than 25 years of experience in the marine industry that the company offers will give buyers personal service and the turnkey experience that all Cutwater buyers deserve. In addition to having a design that allows for nearly year round cruising, Cutwater boats will open the door for a new kind of New England boater. Bosun’s Marine has traditionally offered fishing boats and cruising powerboats. Cutwater Boats offers a unique hybrid of the two creating a new boating lifestyle for families and couples who are interested in cruising and fishing in a more traditional looking boat that also offers a new, high tech and innovative approach to hull design. Cutwater Boats have an innovative semi-displacement hull shape, practical interior layout and a vast selection of quality standard equipment making them easy to handle and efficient to cruise. They are equipped with a Yanmar diesel engine, Garmin electronics, Diamond/Sea- Bosun’s Marine will have the Cutwater 28 on exhibit at the Newport International Boat Show this fall.
