Kamdhenu to expand its Paint Venture

• Company will invest 100 Crore to increase production in next three year • Working on unique outsourcing arrangement production strategy to cover south and west Indian Market

Aug. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd announces the expansion of its paint business to increase its production, expand its distribution network by investment of Rs 100 Crore. “Colour Dreamz” the brand name of Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd Paint product shown extraordinary growth rate of 30 % while paint market is growing by only 10 to 15% in this period.

To compete with major players Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd is working on an unique outsourcing arrangement production strategy under this strategy the company has recently started new production unit in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and the company is also looking forward to add more production facilities over the next two years in southern and western part of the country.  With this development Paint unit of Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd increases its production by 15,000 kiloliters per annum. The company will also enhance production from its Bhiwadii unit through better utilization of recourses currently this unit is producing 36000 kiloliter Per annum.

Elaborating about the company expansion plan Mr. Satish  Agrawal CMD of Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd  said, “Excellent quality of Colour Dreamz Kamdhenu paint is in great demand. We are looking to achieve 70% growth rate of our paint venture for this fiscal year. The company aims to provide best product at best price with ultimate customer service. Kamdhenu paints targets to become one of the top five paint manufacturers of the country within next three years.”

Commenting about the Indian paint market Mr. Agarawal Said “the size of the paint market in India is estimated at Rs 110 bn and there is huge present of unorganized sector with the ratio of 60:40. Kamdhenu is looking to capture a substantial portion of organized sector market along with  in unorganize sector As the unorganised sector loses its competitive edge, it is also losing market share to the organised sector players.”

Talking about the Market potential Mr. Agarwal said “India has very low per capita annual consumption of paints (0.5Kg compared to 15 kg of global average) the domestic paint industry has tremendous potential”

Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd also looking to increase its marketing network, currently the company has 8500 dealers & distributors, one of the biggest sales networks, across the country.
