Mr. Gilbert Mennetret named General Manager of Grand Mercure Hongqiao

Aug. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- A French Native, Gilbert Mennetret started his career with Accor Hotels group in 1978. With a love of art and culture, he spread his footprints across Southeast Asia in the past twenty year, including some of the most authentic destinations like Indonesia, Thailand, and Korea. As a seasoned hotelier, Gilbert Mennetret’s career also includes several senior regional management roles in Vietnam and Benelux (Belgium, Luxemburg, Holland), where he contributed tremendous efforts to the Human Resource and procurement development for the group.

Gilbert Mennetret is also a Wine Enthusiast, a Musician, and a Social Activist. Bordeaux, Beaujolais, and Champagne produce most of his favorite wine; while Jazz is the most fascinating music to him.  As a result of his dynamic personality, Gilbert Mennetret developed strong network of people within many industries and disciplines. He represents several organizations as well as a French political party in Asia.
