PetQR introduces new technology to help lost pets find their way home!

The QR code contains the pet owners phone number which will allow someone who finds a lost pet to scan the code using their smart phone and with the click of one button call the owner directly. Bypassing traditional methods which include having to write down a code from a typical pet tag and a veterinarians phone number and then calling the veterinarian to report the missing dog.

“When only 15 to 20% of lost pets are ever reunited with their loving family it really drives you to find a solution that can improve that alarming statistic.” says Brian Harmon, Chief Executive Officer of PetQR. “If we can play a part in making sure lost pets find their way home just one day quicker then our mission is truly justified.”

PetQR is a noninvasive and economical way to utilize the latest in smart phone technology to ensure that your pet has a greater chance at being returned to you than traditional methods allow.

“As we were designing our product, the overwhelming demand we had of the product was that it had to drastically reduce the time a lost pet was found and returned to its family.” says Tim Drube, Co-Creator of PetQR. “Our other requirement was that it had to be non-invasive and economical so that anyone could afford it and benefit from it. The custom coded QR pet identification tags are made in Anniston, Al and are available in standard black or any of four other custom colors.
