Aug. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Blake B. Johnson had a solid work ethic ingrained in him at an early age. Growing up on a farm in Southern California, he went on later to attend The Webb School, a boarding school in Claremont, California. It was there that he knew he wanted to commit himself to a career in business. He relived his experience at the prestigious boarding academy and his impression of his fellow students, saying, “It was something you’d see in the movies – powerful families with a long lineage of accomplished individuals becoming leaders of our country. It was very enticing and I wanted to be a part of it.”

Blake B. Johnson has certainly shown that he is a leader. Majoring in finance and marketing in college, he is now at the helm of IMCA Capital based in Los Angeles. Previously, Johnson headed a firm until the economic climate suddenly turned grim with the percentage of defaults rising from five to twenty percent. In 2008, the financial services industry all but collapsed. Almost overnight, sources of funding quickly disappeared. Blake commented on the debacle saying, “It was a nightmare and we were caught in the middle.”

However, with the birth of his daughter coupled with his innate determination, Blake stood tall throughout the storm. He said, “Rather than fighting the economy, we decided to move with it.” He decided to reform his business strategy in order to better fit with the changing economic times. Because there was a deficit of credit, Blake decided to help businesses who were struggling by providing a nontraditional financial product known as Merchant Cash Advance.

Merchant Cash Advance is a program that allows businesses to obtain nearly instant cash in return for future credit card sales at the business. Even if an applicant has a credit score that is not exactly glowing, it doesn’t mean he’ll be turned down for funding. Rather, IMCA Capital looks at the time the applicant has been in business, the industry in which the business is operating, and the monthly sales volume of the business in order to determine eligibility. Merchant Cash Advance offers mainstream American businesses a solution to their financing woes as many people are unable to get affordable financing through traditional channels.

By using the Merchant Cash Advance program, recipients have access to instant cash – cash which can be used to increase their cash flow and help their businesses prosper. Merchant Cash Advance is only one of the many business offerings supplied by IMCA Capital. Businesses can receive a number of services from IMCA Capital, such as equipment leasing and financing, insurance protection, credit cards, and business services, such as promotional development, trade show assistance, graphic design, and direct mailings.

Blake B. Johnson is looking forward to the future and the impact that IMCA Capital will have on the business community in the long term. After all, he understands what it’s like to face financial roadblocks, and with the creation of IMCA, he has been helping the American business sector grow and succeed for over five years.
