UK Start-Up Celebrates Worldwide Success

Aug. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- A UK- based website specialising in bespoke photo books is currently celebrating worldwide success, having reached the milestone of fulfilling orders to a third of the world’s counties; specifically, over 65 countries around the globe.
Founded less than one year ago, MyMemory.com is the creation of Rebecca Huggler and Karl Moss; who already have a number of successful websites to their name. The MyMemory.com site last week reached the impressive milestone of fulfilling photo book orders to 65 countries across the globe; with the aim of being an international company by offering free worldwide delivery.
MyMemory.com was launched in November 2010, after the founders noticed a need to keep treasured photographs ‘alive’; rather than simply stored away on a computer. The MyMemory.com site therefore allows people to create a range of beautiful, bespoke photographic products with their favourite snaps; including photo books, calendars, greetings cards, posters and prints.
Since launching, MyMemory.com has delivered orders completely free of charge to 65 countries across the globe; with all products featured on the site produced in-house at the Jersey headquarters.  In the last quarter, MyMemory.com sold over 22,000 photo books to people across the world, with orders delivered free of charge to countries including Vietnam, Argentina and Kazakhstan; including all major countries across Europe.
MyMemory.com also allows users to upload their photographs to the website for safe storage, meaning that users can access their favourite snaps from anywhere in the world; as well as allowing them to easily share their photographs with friends and family. The website now has over 2 million photographs safely stored on-site from users around the world, attracting over 56,000 unique visitors per month.
Rebecca Huggler and Karl Moss have together brought a wealth of varied experience to the MyMemory.com site. Before co-founding MyMemory.com, Rebecca Huggler spent 5 years working at ITV Channel Television as a presenter and reporter; whilst Karl Moss has run successful digital memory website MyMemory.co.uk for eight years after founding it in 2003.
Both Moss and Huggler are also very aware of the environmental impact of the MyMemory.com business, using new technologies to minimise chemical usage when developing all products in-house.
