UCI BMX Supercross World Cup 2011 at the Olympic Park in London

The event takes place from 19th - 20th August 2011 and is part of the London Prepares series. For the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in London, a brand new BMX Track is constructed in the Olympic Park which is 450m long and has an eight-metre high ramp, loads of bumps, jumps and tightly banked corners. The Supercross World Cup in London is a unique opportunity to the world's top-notch BMX riders to test the new-made BMX Track. The track will host both women's and men's BMX events during the Olympics and will include a line-up of 48 elite riders competing for two gold medals.

Universal Sport - the media partner of UCI BMX Supercross World Cup '11 in London Olympic Park - has announced that NBC will be broadcasting the third round of the event in the US on 21st August. It's the first time since the Beijing Olympics 2008 when American people will be able to watch the telecast of an important BMX event.
