                      Optimum Basketball Takes Young Players to Elite Levels

CAMARILLO, CA ­ ­– Brandon Cochran, a successful coach of athletes of all ages, is offering a new opportunity to young athletes at his innovative Optimum Basketball program.

Cochran, a certified strength and conditioning coach and sports nutritionist, runs one of the only basketball programs in the country to feature the most state-of-the-art equipment and innovative technology. The program also benefits from its elite staff made up of former professional players and former and current college players, each dedicated to helping young athletes succeed.

“We have helped players improve dramatically because of their willingness to learn,” Cochran said. “We have had players come through who were pretty good ball players, but have really grown with our program. Through hard work and dedication, our athletes see substantial results and have a great time doing it.”

Optimum Basketball provides basketball training camps for athletes who wish to improve their skills, whether or not they are already playing for a club team. Athletes are encouraged to focus on their individual talents, utilizing the program’s technological advancements and focus on skill development to improve their game.

For the fall and winter schedules, the staff boasts professional basketball player Alex Raj and NBA trainer Chris Silzer. Cochran, who himself was a standout college athlete and played professionally in Spain, said that by the time they go through his program, young athletes are educated in more than just basketball.

“Young people are getting mentored so that they can develop into strong leaders and become better academically,” Cochran said. “Optimum Basketball has created the academic All Star Team, which rewards players when they achieve high academic standing. It’s the training ground for future college and professional stars who work hard not only on the court, but also in the classroom.”
