-- Spectrum Athletic Clubs are in the transformation business as they make fat into fit, chunky into hunky, soft into svelte and flab into fab. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Santa Monica club, which is situated in the Water Garden office complex (2425 Olympic Blvd #1000W), a massive party is being planned for Thursday, September 15 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for both members and those in the community interested in getting in shape. The public will have an exclusive opportunity to explore the clubs new $250,000 facelift, meet the team of dedicated staff and trainers and discover the many fitness classes offered. Complimentary food and beverages, live entertainment, a proclamation by the Mayor, tours of the club and other festivities will mark the occasion.
The club will be closed August 13 & 14 to complete the extensive renovation that includes an updated air conditioning system, dedicated TRX area, re-carpeted locker rooms, and a new line of Life Fitness workout equipment including 11 recumbent bikes, 9 upright cycles and 6 treadmills.
