Nexus Insurance Services Will Host Health Care Chat on Twitter
Nexus Insurance Services has announced a new chat on Twitter about how to improve health care.
“It is our hope to spark more conversation about improving health care in the United States,” says Michael Kataf of Nexus Insurance Services. “Lawmakers have been so focused on ways to cut health care costs, which has drawn attention away from what really matters, and that is helping health care professionals do better in their jobs.”
According to a report released by Commonwealth Fund last year, the United States ranked last in health care safety and quality when compared to six other countries -- Britain, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. This shows the need for the U.S. to quickly make changes in how medical professionals approach their work.
“We can’t depend on the government to do everything for us. It takes individual effort and every person in the health care industry has to take responsibility for how patients are treated,” says Kataf. “Hopefully this chat we are hosting on Twitter will help not just our medical malpractice insurance clients, but help each and every health care provider refocus their mindset and to start being more proactive and involved with their patients.”
