Aug. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- FunCitySocialMedia is pleased to announce it will now offer custom-designed websites, built in a day for less than $100 a month.  This new concept borrows from software-as-a-service (SaaS) to create “websites as a service” or WaaS.

“In this slow-recovering economy, small-business owners often cannot afford to drop thousands of dollars into custom-designed websites,” states Fred Campos, owner of FunCitySocialMedia.  I kept asking myself… “What if clients could have all the benefits of a custom site but at a low monthly price?  What if we provide a dashboard after completion that would let them make most of their future changes?  What if, we could provide re-design changes in the future for only a one-time fee of $100?  And deployment could be accomplished in one day?  I’ve been working with our team to greatly speed up the design process for about 18 months now.  I am not advocating template-designed websites, but rather, completely custom Photoshop-designed and layout in a day.

You may be asking yourself ‘How does this work?’  To accomplish this feat, FunCity only allows 10-15 sales of WaaS per month. The client fills out and turns in a 20-page pre-install questionnaire, a list of website designs they like and don’t like and finally assigned a go live date (also called a soft launch).  On design date, the entire install team, three PhotoShop experts, a .CSS web programmer, and a copy editor go to work.  By 9a they have dreamed up a new design, by 11a the site is being built, by 1p the client gets their first glance at the site and is allowed one revision.  By 4p the copy editor takes over and by 5:30p the site is live and being submitted to search engines.

“It is an incredibly intense process.  Our efforts help clients financially.  We take all the risk up front and allow the clients to pay out over time at $99 a month, $79 a month in the second year, and $49 a month thereafter.  The client receives maximum benefit, for very low risk and out of pocket expense.”
