Jared Blake from NBC’s Hit Show ‘The Voice’ Announces Tour Dates to Promote His New Release

Aug. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- The tour responsive to the question Jared Blake became known for.  Are you Country, or are you Rock? To that, Jared answered “I just want to make good music.”, and walks the
line between genres — falling one way or another at times, equally.  

Jared Blake shows will range from 40 – 70 minutes, depending on the area.  He will also be bringing along his two, yes two, bands in most areas.  Official announcements have not been made about these bands.

On The Voice, Jared performed anything from techno-pop to his own acoustic rendition of the female country hit  Not Ready to Make Nice.  “It’s not meant to be confusing.  Music is a mood, not a genre.  We don’t need boxes for people to understand it.  People will like some songs and not others, and some days people will want to hear certain songs and not others.  That’s the way music has always been.  People like all kinds of music; why can’t an artist?”  Jared adds, “I play what I feel, and music is meant to be felt.  That’s what I intend to bring to the shows.”

Along with his witty commentary and his take on the behind the scenes of the show, Jared answers fans questions about other contestants, working with the coaches, and more. He will also offer meet and greet times for fans at each location.  A limited edition reprint of his independent CD, along with other merchandise will be available for purchase at each event.
