Industry experts and DAM administrators will offer insights to help attendees make the most informed possible marketing asset management choices.
Aug. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Widen Enterprises, a Madison, Wisconsin-based premedia and digital asset management (DAM) company, has teamed with Henry Stewart Events to sponsor DAM Chicago 2011, which will be held Sept. 13, 2011 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Chicago Magnificent Mile, and is designed to help attendees learn more about DAM and inform their decisions about integrating DAM systems into their organizations. Henry Stewart Events puts on similar DAM conferences in Los Angeles, New York and London in 2011.
“We’re very much looking forward for this DAM event,” said Jake Athey, Widen Marketing Manager. “It’s always satisfying to see people learn about what DAM is capable of and use that knowledge to make themselves and their organizations run more smoothly. It’s even more satisfying when Widen can be a part of that education.”
The conference will begin at 8:00 a.m. with registration and is scheduled to run through about 5:00 p.m.; lunch and refreshments will be provided to conferees.
Speakers at DAM Chicago will include:

• Steven Brier, Senior Manager of Field Marketing Support at Marriott International
• Lisa Hayward, Global Online Communications Manager at Shell International Petroleum Company

The conference will be chaired by David H. Lipsey, a DAM industry founder with more than 25 years of experience in the diversified media and entertainment sectors.
“Henry Stewart’s focus in DAM events is always from the perspective of the end user. To meet that objective, we provide a platform to experts who have the answers that satisfy the end users’ needs,” said Patricia Connelly, CEO, Henry Stewart Events. “At DAM Chicago, the caliber of the speaker line-up is truly superb and the breadth of industries represented wide. Our outstanding presenters have all served years in the front line. They know the problems, they have implemented the answers and they have moved with the rapidly changing times to meet the demands of their businesses: from business case to system selection, to implementation, and to operation and enhancement.”
The event will address various hot topics in digital asset management, including integrated marketing management, the impact of table computing on digital asset consumption, taxonomy, metadata and search.
