Collaboration between banks, solution providers and corporates is critical to e-invoicing's future

Aug. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- sharedserviceslink.com CEO and Founder, Susie West, will be chairing a panel debate on the evolution of electronic invoicing at Sibos, the giant financial services event facilitated and organised by Swift, a provider of the industry’s communications platform, products and services.

While the number of invoices transmitted electronically around the world is still low, expectations are high for the potential impact e-invoicing can have on not only making organisations more efficient, but also streamlining trade between countries. Hindering this growth, however, are misplaced perceptions, slow take up from the banking sector and regulatory challenges.

Chairing the discussion at Sibos on 20th September 2011, West will explore these areas with representatives from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bottomline Technologies, the State Treasury of Finland and Fundtech FSC.
