Aug. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- On August 17th, the MLK Community Mural Project will have its gallery exhibit show from 6pm to 9 pm at the Little Haiti Cultural Center.  Mr. Pitts has created a visual masterpiece especially for this exhibit.

True to the theme of the exhibit "See the Sound", the piece entitled "High Notes" created by the artist is a 3D work of art.  When asked to describe the process, Mr. Pitts stated, "I started from the ground up with this one.  It is hand wrapped canvas on wood.  I painted the background in several layers.  The background depicts music in different tones as it floats through the air.  The sound can really be seen in this piece - literally."

This creation is priced at $1375 with a portion of the proceeds going to the MLK Mural Project.

The exhibit will be on display from August 17, 2011 to September 11, 2011 at the Little Haiti Cultural Center located at 212 NE 59th Terrace in Miami, FL.  To find out more about the MLK Mural Project, visit http://www.mlkmural.com
