JetStream Launches Construction Contract and Estimate Freebies

Aug. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- JetStream Technologies, makers of the JetStream construction project management software, have launched a promotional campaign which sees them giving away monthly freebies to the construction community.

Kicking off the campaign is the release of two sets of construction-related freebies: a set of Excel estimating templates and a bundle of standard construction contracts, documents and forms.

The Excel estimating templates include sheets for new residential construction, kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling. These estimates are of a different format from the web-based estimating that JetStream offers; while JetStream's estimating is more detailed, integrates with QuickBooks and comes loaded with a national costbook, these templates are simple Excel sheets intended for contractors not quite ready to make the leap to a full-fledged project management solution.

These contracts are intended to supplement contractors' existing contracts or to be used on their own after being checked by a local, licensed attorney.
