Sweet Claudette Blues Show on the road to Birmingham & Tuscaloosa, Alabama also Tallahassee, Florida

Aug. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Sweet Claudette (Harrell-Manning) is Alabama bound for four rocking, fun, funky, real-deal blues performances:  Aug. 19th Red Wolf in Powderly, AL, Aug. 20th Wellingtons Bistro, Birmingham, AL, Aug. 26th City Vineyard, Birmingham, AL, Aug. 27th for the 2nd annual Johnny Shines Festival, Tuscaloosa, AL.  
   Sweet Claudette's style is tastefully sassy and sometimes raw. She can rock it from the stage or bring it to you in the audience. This lady is a performer who can give you the blues straight up, with no chaser, or low down and dirty. Sweet Claudette's sultry blues, jazz style can just as easily massage your soul with a cover song or one of her own original treats.
    Traveling with her for these shows are some of her band mates, Greg Manning (drums) and Nicholas Tabarias (guitar). Joining them will be Rob Harris, Birmingham, AL area  and 'Mr. B (bass) who splits his time between Cincinnati, Ohio and Birmingham, Alabama.
    Sweet Claudette has been nominated for both a Detroit Music Award and a Detroit Black Music Award. She credits her fans with keeping both of her CDs 'That Man's Got To Go' and 'Shakin' Up The Bucket' in the Top 10 of the Roots Music Internet and Michigan Airplay Charts for several months.

    The late Willie King, Debbie Bond and Rick Asherson added Sweet Claudette to Alabama's Freedom Creek Festival with the Alabama Women of the Blues. She worked with them for several years and joined that group of women for the Magic City Festival.  Sweet Claudette also performed at the Magic City Blues Society's sponsored 2010 Junkyard Juke Festival.
