Business Owner, Viviane Aires, Uses New Media to Say It’s Ok to Be Another Pretty Face

Aug. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Combatting the idea that women must be either pretty or smart in order to garner success, Viviane’s “Be Bonita!” campaign encourages women of all ethnic backgrounds and ages to embrace and cultivate their natural beauty.

“I don’t want women to wish to look like Beyonce or Kim Kardashian or Kate Moss,” explains Viviane.  “I want women to love being themselves … feel smart and confident and physically beautiful.  They need not become anything.  They are bonita.”

The campaign will feature multiple social media components, including YouTube videos, blogs, and Facebook and Twitter campaigns, in addition to self-help and skin care tips and trends dispersed through a bi-weekly newsletter.

Clients and social media friends and followers are encouraged to join in and give feedback, post pictures about their progress, and even participate in weekly raffles for complimentary services.

Viviane explains the rationale behind “Be Bonita!” saying, “Growing up, what I admired about Brazilian women was that they were anything they wanted to be.  But most importantly, they were gorgeous … in a perfect world, we would all feel and be like this!”

“… No matter how hard [Brazilian women] worked, they put that extra effort into excellent skincare!  …  They insisted on a healthy glow.” She says, only half-joking, “They waxed everything … regularly!  This is what I want for all of my clients.”  

During the last 15 years of Viviane’s career in America, she’s serviced everyone from models to celebrities, to every day moms and working women.
