DiscountVouchers.co.uk Research Reveals Brits Still Not Happy to Pay for Goods with Mobile Phones

Country’s consumers tell voucher code site poll that they still trust cash or cards more than technology
By: Doug Scott
Aug. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- DiscountVouchers.co.uk, the leading money saving website which offers shoppers savings at over 800 top stores, has this week revealed research which shows that UK consumers still trust cash and cards more than mobile phones when paying for goods.

The survey polled UK shoppers and revealed that over 70% of people do not trust their mobile phones for paying for goods and services. The DiscountVouchers.co.uk research demonstrated that people not have faith in phone security enough to prefer them to cards and cash.

Doug Scott, managing director of DiscountVouchers.co.uk, comments: “We are pretty interested by the results of our research, which show just how little faith people have in technology and mobile phones right now. They are safer than they have ever been in security terms but people do still seem to trust their cards and cash mores.”
