Powerhouse Events/PR Marketing Executives Join
Altima International & Saxton Group to expand operations in
New York and Palm Beach


Maribel Alvarez, Founder and CEO of Altima International of Palm Beach, and Catherine Saxton, Founder and CEO of The Saxton Group Limited, New York, have joined their considerable talents and expertise into a joint venture offering expanded services to current and future clients in Palm Beach, Miami, New York and cities around the Globe.  These two "internationalists" one Cuban, one English, have worked together for the past decade. With their client base requiring more global outreach, they decided to create a joint venture to offer broader services to both sets of clients.  

Based in New York, the Saxton Group is known for its elite high-end events and global publicity placements.  Recent events included The Princes Ball II for the Crown Princess of Serbia and her charity LIFELINE.  A Gala dinner for The Duke of Edinburgh Awards program attended by HRH The Prince Edward, and a host of A-list celebrities and socialites. Many other such events are on Saxton's list including the Wine Collection Launch of longtime client Ivana Trump. This takes place in New York and later in Palm Beach. Galas, Balls, Benefits, Premiers and luxury products are part of Saxton's client portfolio.

Altima established its reputation as a Private Relations© firm, acting as a direct liaison between luxury brands, luxury real estate, financial institutions and Altima’s affluent subscriber-based database.  Though based in Palm Beach, Altima’s personal relationships have been the basis for successful events in destinations such as Gstaad, Monaco, Marbella, Geneva, Lyford Cay and Aspen. Clients such as the Related Group of Florida, Emilio Pucci, Graff Jewelers, Vilebrequin, Castiglion del Bosco, International Polo Club, Institut Le Rosey, Gstaad Palace, Harry Winston, Royal Bank of Canada and others have utilized Altima’s network to help build their clientele.  

The two agencies are working on celebrity wrangling, global publicity, sponsorship securement and overall event management for THE EMPEROR'S BANQUET on September 25 in New York.  This is the culmination of two days (September 22-23) of exacting competition by Chinese Chefs from around the world. It is in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the NEW TANG DYNASTY TV operation here in the US and around the world.  "We bring unique skills and expertise to our clients and this exciting event in New York shows the strengths and capabilities of our new joint venture," Maribel said in the announcement.
