Follow on Google News | Big Bad Ball Silent Auction to Feature BidPalThe Big Bad Ball, an annual black tie gala presented by the Capital City Club’s Young Executive and benefiting Hospice of Wake County is currently seeking silent auction items for the 10th anniversary event.
By: Ashley Dodd During registration, attendees will receive a handheld device pre-loaded with every auction item – item description, value, bid increments, photo and donor information. Guests can browse the silent auction area, watch favorite items, place maximum bid amounts, receive outbid alerts utilize the “Buy Now” feature and bid from anywhere at any time during the event. Silent auction donors will receive: • Recognition on the Big Bad Ball Facebook page - A photo album has been created exclusively for silent auction donors. All donors will have their company logo uploaded along with a description of the item that they are donating. Companies can request to be tagged for additional exposure through their own Facebook page. • Recognition through Twitter - New silent auction items are posted every Wednesday on the Big Bad Ball Twitter page. • Exposure to Membership Organizations/ Purchase tickets now through August 31 for the discounted price of $100 and receive a free raffle ticket – a $50 savings. After August 31, tickets increase to $125. Tickets for the $10,000 raffle are $25 each or five for $100. Each year, the event raises upwards of $100,000 to support Hospice’s Benevolent Care Program, which provides necessary end-of-life care for terminally ill patients and their families.
