Aug. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Sticking to a healthy nutrition plan when eating out on business can be difficult, but two Guernsey businesses have come up with a solution.

Storm Force Fitness, have teamed up with Christie’s Restaurant, the Boathouse and Crabby Jack’s to provide easy-to-choose healthy eating menu’s for those who want to maintain a healthy lifestyle even when dining in style.

Having developed exercise programs that consistently help clients and camp members to drop body fat and increase energy, strength and stamina, Jon Le Tocq of Storm Force Fitness wanted to solve the nutrition dilemma.

“We created our fast working Metabolic Accelerator Plan a while back for our team members but there have been so many questions about what to do when eating out, we had to find an effective answer. Fortunately, Phil at Christie’s saw the benefit for both of our customer bases and was extremely helpful in getting the idea off the ground.”

Storm Force Fitness currently serve around 150 people through their fitness camps, Boxercise and personal training sessions, and with Christie’s being an established brand in town, it is hoped that hundreds of people will now find it much easier to make the right food choices.

Phil Collinson, Operations Director for Christie’s and it’s sister venues is delighted to be involved.

“We’ve become increasingly aware that many people are keen to look after themselves and choose the healthiest food options but struggle when eating out and entertaining clients on a regular basis. We want to make it as easy as possible and take any confusion out of selecting meals. Jon has done the hard work for both his customers and ours and it’s great to bring two forward thinking businesses together!”

“The menu’s at our restaurants will all have sections dedicated to healthy eating choices as determined by Storm Force Fitness so customers concerned with their nutrition can go straight to that section. Jon has also made suggestions as to what to ask of the chef such as oils to use and what to add or takeaway depending on whether you’ve just exercised.”

The new menu’s will be available from September with further plans in place for when the Boathouse converts to the Ski Chalet for winter at the start of November.
