Spell-It-Out Photos creates a gallery of sports themed alphabet photography.

Aug. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Spell-It-Out Photos, a letter art photography online store, launched their long awaited sports gallery August 2nd.   This gallery joins the established Countryside and Winter galleries in a letter art collection like none other.

The concept is simple, Sue Tenerowicz and Lynn McAuliffe, co-owners of Spell-It-Out Photos, have taken photos of equipment, fields, pools, etc. that look like a letter of the alphabet.  They crop each image to isolate and enhance the letter.  The images are then placed on their website http://spellitoutphotos.com.  Customers can spell a word or phrase using these alphabet images.  Custom creations can be matted and framed, printed on glass, made into a banner, etc.  There are plenty of options for all budgets.

“Ever since we started Spell-It-Out Photos, we envisioned having a sports gallery.  Something fun, where you could spell words and names using sports equipment or fields.  We loved the idea and started working on it from day one.  However, it definitely took longer than we anticipated.  Unlike our other galleries, where we could simply go on a hike and find letters, it’s more difficult to find the right equipment or a decent field.  And it’s not like a baseball game or swim meet breaks out as we pass by. These shots are hard to come by.  They are planned around games, meets, access, favors, and drive by discoveries”, explained Sue.

Lynn continued, “It’s definitely a labor of love.  All of our children play sports.  Our families love sports.  So it only made sense that we would create a gallery that not only represents many of our favorite pass times, but somewhat documents our journey through parenthood.  Besides, we knew how much our customers would love the sports gallery.”

As for the gallery itself, it is filled with vibrant and creative images.  The use of shadows and lines is a clear example of their out of the box thinking.  Sue and Lynn want to make it clear that this gallery is a work in progress.  They decided to launch it now, because they had so many requests to use sports letters.  However, it is difficult to find A-Z images of every sport.  There is a good collection for customers to choose from, but they will continue to add to images from every sport.
