The BBPF & The Sintia Mesa Foundation Support Area Children with Back to School Drive!

In support of Wash., DC area school children, The BPBF, along with The Sintia Mesa Foundation, is holding a back to school drive Sat., Aug. 13 - Sat., Aug 20 at drop-off locations in Wash., DC & Landover, MD.

Aug. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- The surrounding community is encouraged to drop-off new, unused school supplies from 12pm-4pm at Earl Howard Studios (2528 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, WDC 20020) on Aug. 13 to kick off the drive, and continue the supply drop off at Sintia Dominican Salon (8581 Landover Rd, Landover, MD, 20785) during business hours through Aug. 20. Those that drop off at Sintia’s will be entered into a drawing for a FREE Wash & Set hairstyle!

Supplies may consist of a range of items, from pencils, paper, notebooks, rulers, and erasers, to book bags, lunch boxes, and new uniforms. Too often, underprivileged families are forced to sacrifice the essential needs of their childrens’ education to provide for an entire household - The BPBF hopes to ease these types of families’ transition into the upcoming 2011-2012 school year.
