Aug. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Knowing a competitor’s strategies, in advance, can be the difference between success and failure, and yet members of business leadership teams, marketers, and sales teams are stretched too thin just “doing their job” to spend much time really analyzing the competition. During this session chapter attendees will learn how to make the most of open source intelligence (OSINT) assets.  This program was presented and Sold Out at the SCIP11 Annual Conference in May.

Topics covered include 20+ free web tools for competitive intelligence and best practices for searching the deep web, in addition to multiple examples of how these tools have been applied in competitive intelligence projects. Attendees will receive guidance on ranking and prioritizing information sources.

Held at Northrup Grumman Information Systems (McLean VA) on Tuesday, September 13 from 5:30pm to 7:30 pm, this session is part of SCIP’s multi-chapter eLearning webinar and networking chapter meeting, exclusive to onsite attendees. Cost is $10 for a SCIP member, $20 for a non-member. For additional information please contact Brandon Conroy Brandon.conroy(at)ngc.com or Robyn Reals rreals(at)scip.org
