Funny First Fridays will be the New Tradition for Hollywood Friday Nights

Aug. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Roasted Planet’s Comedy Wednesdays has proven to be the right equation for a weekly variety show. Almost a dozen seasoned comedians, good crowd, drink specials from a fully stocked bar and a fabulous DJ spinning today’s hits all at a popular nights club. Loyal to their fans, comics and style, Roasted Planet is doing it again, this time bigger and once a month in the heart of Hollywood.

Starting September 2nd, Funny First Fridays at ECCO Lounge will be a fun, unique show that will feature nationally touring, big name comedians along with comedy’s rising stars, as well as live music with some great surprises and a very Hollywood feel. ECCO is located at 1640 North Cahuenga near Hollywood Blvd. Reception will be at 7:00pm where you can enjoy the gorgeous facility and it’s fully stocked bar, show time will be at 8.

Already on the roster for the first show is Ron G, finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and BET’s “Who’s Got Jokes”, and is also a Roasted Planet veteran. “Ron G is one of my favorite young comedians and among the best to ever hit a Roasted Planet stage” stated the show’s producer and comedian Lawrence Shersher.

Club owner Danny B stated, “Nothing like this has been done at our club before and we can’t wait to see what happens.” Friday nights have been ECCO Lounge’s hottest night for years and thanks to the support of the club and Sebastian Entertainment, show guests will be allowed to stay or return for the nightclub to follow immediately after the show, saving each person the price of cover. “It’s gonna be a crazy full night of fun to cap off a crazy summer at ECCO”

Roasted Planet shows have featured some amazing veteran comedians, such as headliners Ty Rivera, Mike Muratore, Ron G and many others. The show will be hosted by different comedians every Month and will also feature video segments that just might have some people pee in their pants a bit. There will also be live burlesque dancers to add some spice to the show.

Roasted Planet Entertainment, a Sherman Oaks based film and event Production Company, plans to provide hilarious quality entertainment with many events this year and films underway as well. For now the company hopes that Roasted Planet’s Funny First Fridays at ECCO will leave people happy, entertained and hopefully not too hung-over, so they will come back for more every First Friday and for future events.
