| A New Pipe Organ And Harpsichord Cd By Mehmet Okonsar: J. S. Bach; "DieKunst Der Fuge" BWV 1080"The Art of Fugue" by Johann Sebastian Bach. An internal glimpse at the CD published by Mehmet Okonsar, pianist, composer, conductor and musicologist of Turkish origins.
By: LMO-Records Mehmet Okonsar positioned the tracks order of the CD in a way that the actual Fugues are in groupings by styles i.e. "simple fugues", "rhythmical variations", "inverted fugues" and so forth then he interjected in between the many canons that he played on harpsichord. The sound of the organ remains very clear and does not obscure the contrapuntal lines which are made along with maximum preciseness in addition to clearness. The CD features the totality of the pieces of the BWV 1080. Many of those recordings are available as video clips on the artists Youtube(r) channel: mokonsar.
