Aug. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- 3-2-1 Talent Showcase Acting Studios Produces Successful Young Actors

Established in 2007 as an acting school for children, teens, and young adults, 3-2-1 Talent Showcase Acting Studios in Los Angeles, has built a strong track record of producing successful young actors. With students ranging in age from 5 – 27 years, many are now working in TV Commercials, TV series, movies and in national brand print ads.

“We got an agent and started auditioning in January and the first week after she turned six she booked her first job. Since turning six in March, she’s booked six jobs in seven weeks,” says Maya Brennan, mom of six year old child actress, Tara Brennan. “Tara has booked six jobs and it’s the result of a lot of things coming together and definitely one of those reasons is the skill set that she learned in Ms. Mae’s class and (without a doubt) she has the confidence that she got from Ms. Mae. She knows how to do a slate; she knows how to deliver. What she has learned at 3-2-1 is definitely a major reason as to why she is doing so well so far.”

Young actor, Dylan Boyack, has seen early success as well when he landed the role of “Young Doug” in The Hangover Part II. “I did a breathing exercise that Ms. Mae taught me before going in to calm my nerves. You breathe in 4 counts, hold for 1 second and then breathe out for eight counts. Sometimes I don’t do well at auditions because I’m too excited or fidgety and the exercise really helped me to read my script better and get the part,” says Dylan.

Now a master student in 3-2-1 Talent Showcase’s “Building Your  Acting Foundation” with Cullen Douglas, Dylan is working on honing his acting skills.  “It’s great. He’s taught us how to work with our partners and how to connect. He’s also taught us how to get into a place where we can relate to our scene and really get into our scene. He taught me to cry by going to a place or experience that was not very enjoyable and taking it into an audition and then applying it to the scene,” says Dylan.

“Booking my first commercial was a really big deal. That was very exciting and unlike a lot of other experiences because I was so excited to be onset and making money,” says 23 year old Gabriela Fresquez, an actress who got her start at 3-2-1 Talent Showcase Acting Studios.  As for her experience at 3-2-1, Gabriela had the following to say:

“3-2-1 Acting Studios is really the reason that I decided to pursue acting. I think it is an excellent way for kids and families to get introduced to the business. 3-2-1 Acting Studios provides those necessary stepping-stones and introductions because there is a lot of stuff to learn. Ms. Mae provides a very supportive environment that eases everyone into what acting is all about. It’s a great transition for kids to really make it into the industry.  My favorite part is that she has a real sense of the business. A lot of acting classes teach you the craft, but you don’t get that very much needed business side of it. She makes it real for the kids in really describing acting in terms of it being a business and not just being fun. I still contact her with questions about my career. She is very good about answering my on-going questions.”

3-2-1 Acting Studios is currently accepting new enrollment for its TV and Film Acting classes as well as its ongoing Master Class series. “Success is our goal,” says Ms. Mae Ross, Owner and Director of 3-2-1 Acting Studios. “Whether you want to launch your child’s career in acting or want to build their confidence, 3-2-1 will support and develop your child until they achieve that goal and any others that follow.” For more information, please visit http://www.321talentshowcase.com  or call (818) 353-5455.
