This is a great back to school deal with no contracts, registration fee of only $10 and $7 classes.

The Korean Art of Moo Duk Kwan is taught which reinforces physical and mental development through drill and discipline of this popular Korean art for Self Protection. The head instructor Andy Curtiss; now a published author and decorated combat veteran was raised poor but benefited from the kindness of his Martial Arts instructor who awarded him with a martial arts training scholarship. Curtiss says it is the kindness of his teachers that have spurred him to make training affordable to almost any child. "I wouldn't charge at all if I didn't have to just in order to keep the doors open' he says. Since moving to Fort Worth with his family in 2009; he has been planning to open up a training center of his very own as a way to follow his passion and to contribute to the community. While Curtiss was saving for the funds to open and searching for a location he served as a consultant for the US Government abroad. The business will begin registering for the fall session starting August 20th. The facility will be open for registration starting 10am Saturday 20 August and close registartion that day at 2pm. The following week they will open registration again on the 27th of August from 10am till 2pm. If there are still slots available they will register the following week on normal business hours, Curtiss is expecting a high turnout and suggests that parents attend the August 20th registration to ensure open slots. They will also be registering for Adult Mixed Martial Arts, Military Hand to Hand combat and Women's Self Protection classes at that time. Kid's Martial Arts registration will be $10. Payment plans can be arranged at that time. Classes can be paid by the class, by the week or by the month. Classes are $7 a class. Students can attend 2 classes a week at a discount of $12 a week and there is a monthly plan available of either $28 or $48 a month. The school will officially open for training Monday, September 5th 2011. Andy Curtiss is the head instructor. Curtiss hold's blackbelts in Moo Duk Kwan Taekwando and Shurite Kempo. He also holds a brownbelt in Kano Jujitsu. Curtiss was the 1995 American Independent Karate Association Men's National Champion in Forms, Kumite and Open Category. He also competes professionally as a Mixed Martial Artist. Andy is also a published Author of the books 1984 Redux and Combat Application Techniques: Principles of Destruction.
