Aug. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Child welfare professionals working with foster children need the most up to date effective training tools to help make a difference in foster children’s lives. Dr. Sue Cornbluth, a foster care expert of Temple University, has recently written and published a new training manual titled, ‘The Ambiguous Foster Child: Attachment, Separation, Loss & Loyalty.” The manual is based on her first hand work with foster children in the Philadelphia Foster Care System. Dr. Sue believes in changing the foster care system, “one child at a time” by creating healthy attachments with foster children that they can carry with them as they move through life. Her manual is the tool to help you create this success.

A recent attendee at Dr. Sue's workshop in Philadelphia reported, "This was one of the most informative manuals on foster care I have read in a long time. The workshop was great and I gained a lot of new information that I can apply to my work with foster children."

Dr. Sue may be contacted through her website at www.drsueandyou.com. Her training manual can be purchased through American Foster Care Resources at www.afcr.com.
