Flashpoint Informatics Announces New Private Server Offering

Aug. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- BELLEFONTE, Pa. (August 4, 2011)- Following the opening of their data center several months ago, Flashpoint Informatics, a Bellefonte, PA based Information Technology company, announced today that they have begun offering a Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting service designed for enterprise customers.

The service, called VMStorm (http://vmstorm.com), is based on software from VMWare and will offer customers the ability to instantly scale their virtual machines. Additionally, the system is designed with several different types of backup services, to help ensure that customer’s machines are always up and running without any fear of losing their data.

“Owning our own data center enables us to offer VMStorm VPS hosting at an extremely competitive price, our customers benefit from buying direct from the source and not going through a reseller,” said Flashpoint President David Gibbons, “ we have noticed a lot of demand for an affordable and reliable solution, so it seemed like a natural extension for Flashpoint to make to our current hosted service offerings.”

Virtual Machines from VMStorm will start from $20 per month and can be up and running almost instantly after the application is complete.
