Beyond the Flood - Australian Flooding Leads to Strange Answers in New Mystery Novel

Beyond the Flood goes far beyond what our normal powers of perception can detect, resulting in a truly absorbing book.

Aug. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Nearly 80 years have passed since the devastating 1906 flood of Victoria, Australia. In the fascinating novel Beyond the Flood, the year is now 1985 and flooding is once again expected. What connection could there possibly be between a young boy named Jemmy, who drowned in the first flood, and the ghost that is now haunting another boy’s home?

Bobby, his older sister, Gwen, and his younger brother, Jeremy, have moved into the same house where Jemmy once lived and played. After Bobby learns about the coincidence, he starts seeing Jemmy’s ghost, who resembles his brother, Jeremy. Bobby becomes friends with a decorated WWI and WWII soldier who sheds light on the 1906 tragedy, leading to a surprising discovery.

Meanwhile severe flooding is once again forecast to hit parts of the small Victorian town and surrounding area where Bobby lives. Can Bobby prevent another tragedy from occurring? Beyond the Flood goes far beyond what our normal powers of perception can detect, resulting in a truly absorbing book.
