The Blissful Wishes Ball Returns to Houston on September 8, 2011

Aug. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- HOUSTON, TEXAS –Imagine a night filled with wonderful music from DJU Productions, delicious gourmet food from the finest chefs at the Westin Galleria Hotel, sweet treats from More Than Cakes, a silent auction filled with everything from honeymoon packages to luxury hotel stays, and the beautifully talented Maria Todd of Mix 96.5 as your Mistress of Ceremonies. This is what you’ll find when you attend the Blissful Wishes Ball benefiting Wish Upon a Wedding on September 8, 2011 at the Westin Galleria Hotel. The funds raised from this annual event help cover additional costs associated with granting wedding wishes to deserving couples dealing with terminal illnesses and life altering circumstances.

The Houston Chapter was established in April of 2010 and has made amazing strides to carry out the mission of Wish Upon a Wedding. They granted their first wedding wish in December 2011 right after their inaugural ball and are gearing up for 4 weddings to take place between November and next February. The Blissful Wishes Ball offers an opportunity for the community to see what Wish Upon a Wedding is about and donate to a worthy cause. Wish Upon a Wedding’s mission is to celebrate the courage, determination and spirit of these couples by granting their dream wedding Wishes. Their hope is that chosen recipients can inspire other couples facing similar situations to find hope and strength.

A ticket to the Blissful Wishes Ball is a donation of $100 or you may reserve a table for 10 guests with a donation of $900.
