South Jersey Attorney LaVan Appointed To Burlington County Bar Leadership

Aug. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- MOORESTOWN, N.J. – Moorestown business law attorney Julie A. LaVan, Esq., of LaVan Law, was recently appointed Vice Chair of the Burlington County Bar Association’s Civil Practice Section, Bench & Bar Committee.

Ms. LaVan, a resident of Moorestown, concentrates her practice in the representation of small-to-medium-sized businesses and corporations across a wide range of industries, including corporate and commercial real estate, environmental, and labor and employment issues.

In addition to the transactional services Ms. LaVan provides to her clients, she also engages in a commercial litigation practice in which she represents business owners and employers in the defense of business disputes and employment claims.

Ms. LaVan also leverages her corporate experience as General Counsel and corporate shareholder to help clients avert and navigate through business problems, taking a long view approach to solving issues which can potentially derail their enterprises.

Ms. LaVan publishes and speaks frequently to professional groups on a variety of business, employment, and environmental topics.

She is an active member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Society of Women Environmental Professionals, Burlington County Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, and the New Jersey State County Bar Association, and serves on the boards of trustees of the Perkins Center for the Arts and the Moorestown Community House.
