Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Julie Ann Segal, President of Metropolitan Interiors in Minneapolis, comments on an art piece from the Museum "Louvre It Or Leave It." The artwork "Spanisches Fest" caught Julie Ann's attention while on a private tour today at this wonderful museum in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Julie Ann was not aware of this private collection of Gary and JoAnn Fink, but was so glad she got the opportunity to go and view the artwork in this museum and meet Gary himself.

While in the gallery, this striking oil on canvas, measuring at 83 inches wide, immediately stood out. The energy of the Spanish bull fight and the crowd is captured in the piece. The bold sense of color portrays this energy well. A wonderful use of brush strokes and shapes are depicted in "Spanisches Fest." Julie Ann loves the strong color used in the artwork because she finds herself using it in a lot of homes today as accents and wall colors. Julie Ann states, "With all the masculine energy in the piece it is interesting to see a feminine body in the middle, illustrated in all white." In Feng Shui, this helps balance out the energy of the artwork. Using a good mix of both the Yin (feminine) and Yang (masculine) energies creates a nice balance and makes the piece feel good. Utilizing "Spanisches Fest" can help a room feel good as well because the artwork itself has a good energy balance.

The Museum "Louvre It Or Leave It" is an expression of both patrons, Gary and JoAnn Fink, of contemporary art. The Fink's have recognized the importance and impact art has on society. Relying on their personal response to each piece, The Fink's acquired art of great beauty that also brings a social message to the viewer. In addition to their collecting, JoAnn and Gary Fink have underwritten museum exhibitions and acquisitions as well as donated significant works of art to museum permanent collections.
