Storage Solutions Launches New User-friendly Website Through Partnership with WebWorks

With the help of WebWorks, a new web marketing service for the self storage industry, Storage Solutions has a new website that is built to attract more customers and serve them better once they visit.
 
Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Westwood, KS – Storage Solutions Vice President Ray McRae says that his company’s No. 1 goal is “to serve more customers today than we did yesterday,” and that is the No. 1 reason that when you visit the company’s website today, it has a much different look.

With the help of WebWorks, a new web marketing service for the self storage industry, Storage Solutions has a new website (http://www.storage-solutions.org/) that is built to attract more customers and serve them better once they visit. The new site includes consumer features such as the ability to reserve units online, pay bills online, storage tips and use of a storage calculator to figure out how big a unit a renter needs.

Storage Solutions’ staff also has the ability to receive direct feedback on leads, telephone calls and receive messages from consumers to their email.

“The old website was not nearly as dynamic as the new one,” McRae said. “The new website we can put YouTube feeds on, it's searchable by geo I.P. addressing and zip code.”

Storage Solutions was one of WebWorks’ first customers. The service, which launched earlier this year, is a subsidiary of Red Nova Labs, a web marketing company that also created http://www.StorageFront.com.

The WebWorks’ team worked with Storage Solutions to build a site that was user-friendly and also targeted to improve the site’s Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM), two areas where Storage Solutions old site lagged.

“Bottom line is SEO and SEM is where the industry is heading,” McRae said. “While our website made some very important strides in both areas, it was time to take it to the next level. We saw what was happening with Storagefront.com and wanted the same type of activity with our own company website.”

McRae has already seen results from the improvements and the team at WebWorks expects the new site to continue to pull in consistent customer leads.

“So far they (WebWorks) have been great to work with,” he said. “I think that we will have a stronger Internet presence and this in turn will reinforce our branding efforts in the markets where we are active.
