ILC Dover Forms Strategic Alliance with Tensys

Aug. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Frederica, DE -  ILC Dover, a world leader in flexible materials and inflatable 3-D structures, announced the creation of a strategic alliance with Tensys Limited of Bath, England.  Tensys specializes in structural engineering for the design and analysis of lightweight tensioned membrane structures and has offices in Bath, England, and in Melbourne, Australia.

ILC and Tensys have collaborated on advanced lighter-than-air structures for a number of years and this alliance will expand the relationship to other business areas.  As a world leader in engineered softgoods products and advanced flexible materials, the addition of Tensys unique membrane analysis capabilities will help support the creation of innovative, lightweight, flexible solutions to address customer’s needs in military and industrial markets, and expand product offerings.
